~Doula Services~
The word "doula" originated in ancient Greece & simply meant "servant." In terms of childbirth, it now refers to a non-medical professional who provides continuous physical & emotional support during labor, childbirth, & immediately after. Hiring a certified doula is like taking your childbirth educator with you to your birth.
Studies have shown that hiring a doula can help reduce the use of interventions in childbirth & improves the experience overall. As a doula, I give birth parents the information they need to make their own informed decisions & I am supportive of those decisions no matter what.

Doula Package Includes:
- One FREE interview! This is a chance for you to get to know who I am & to see if you feel I'm a good fit for you.
- One (to two) comprehensive prenatal visit
- Birth Support
- On call status ten days before & after your estimated due date
- Back up doula in the rare case of overlapping births, illness, or emergency
- Follow-up visit within two weeks after your birth to reflect and ask questions
- A written timeline including the primary details of the birth is provided after the birth
